As someone who grew up in the Borg, It does not matter if they take the rules seriously or not. They will be accused of doing something nevertheless. I think that is one of the reasons why the youth get turned off to the JW's. For years, they filled my head with their version of right and wrong. But, the elders and GB members do believe that someone is going to sin the first chance they get.

On the Titanic???? Very cool. Well, the Doctor was on the Mary Celeste in the old episode called the Chase, so, why not the Titanic. Thanks for passing on that bit of info.

The traveling companions have been interesting through the episodes. From the Doctors Granddaughter Susan, who needed a good "smacked bottom" (LOL) after she fell and hurt her ankle in the Daleks invade Earth, to Dodo, Sarah Jane, Peri (The American companion with the 5th?? Doctor, through Rose, who I haven't seen as much as I've liked to. But from the few episodes I've seen with Rose, she seems like an awesome companion.

Ok, the effects are cheesy, but the acting, writing, storyline is superb. I've since started watching the Doctor Who episodes that are currently on You Tube. I just cannot believe that I've never watched this show until recently. I am particularly fond of the First Doctor, William Hartnell. Loved the Daleks Invasion of Earth, An Unearthly Child, and so many from ALL the Doctors. I just went out and bought a couple of DVD's of episodes. The one episode that is my current favorite is Genesis of the Daleks. The actor who played Davros should have gotten an award for his acting. Superb!! New series is pretty good too. I know some of you probably have been fans for years, but I just can't seem to get enough of this show.

Is this story a JW Myth.....
by drew sagan ina co once told this story at a circuit assembly.
i never quite believed it, and now knowing how many false rumors spread in the jws it would be no suprise to me if this is fake.
the story goes that a non-jw husband didn't want his wife to joining the jws.

I never heard that story, but I do call BS on it. I mean, never spoke to his wife again? Yeah right. No, "Hey, what's for dinner?", or "You in the mood?", or "Yo babe, can you please throw me a roll of TP?" Nah, probably just another one of those half truth experiences the JW's are famous for telling.

An excellent side dish that is very inexpensive to prepare is Fried Plantains. Usually they are around 3-4 for a Dollar. Peel them, then slice them fairly thin, fry in the oil of your choice to a nice golden brown, salt (if allowed), and you have a nice side dish. They make a nice alternative to fries.

During my teenage years, The Who, 1979 at Madison Square Garden. That was the concert Pete Townshend cut his hand while playing. I couldn't hear for 2 days after that concert. Awesome show. Too bad Keith Moon already was taken away. ..... Last concert I went to was just a couple of months ago. Went to see Andre Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra. My, how my tastes have changed with age. Fantastic night of beautiful Music. But, I can still rock out to the Stones, Who, Hendrix...(from time to time...)
